Photography is one of my passions. I’m not great, but I enjoy it and pretend I know what I’m doing. Fun fact: my husband and I just bought a truck camper this summer so we could start living out our dream of traveling to places we’ve always wanted to go. So far we’ve visited Acadia National Park, the Smoky Mountains, and the Blue Ridge Mountains. When I’m not teaching or practicing yoga I love reconnecting with nature and going completely off the grid. Being outdoors and truly appreciating what Mother Nature has to offer is so recentering for me and reminds me why yoga, meditation and spirituality is so important in my life. I try to capture moments on our travels that make me feel at peace and remind me that I am just one small part of a very, very large universe.
Unfortunately, like the rest of the world these days, most of my photos are taken on my iPhone 11 Pro Max and may not be the best format to be displayed on a website, so bear with me! Some of the photos however were taken with a Nikon DSLR and are better quality. But, I’m learning and will be posting more yoga-related photographs in the future. For now, you’ll be seeing a lot of landscapes!
